The Challenge

Enterprise content and distributed output management (ECDOM) addresses the need to capture and customize all corporate “knowledge” and store it in a manner that facilitates secure information sharing, customer service, decision making and business workflow. An organization’s “collective knowledge” resides as information in the form of data, paper documents and other types of unstructured information. Information distribution is often limited to traditional postal services or fax machines.
