At Hyland, we regularly assess our product offerings to ensure they meet our customers’ needs and industry requirements, and align to our market focus. After extensive research and development, Hyland has chosen to sunset Integration for Microsoft InfoPath. Below you will find important information to share with your impacted customers.
Sunset information
Microsoft deprecated the InfoPath application, with InfoPath 2013 as the last released version and an end-of-life date of April 2023. A limited number of customers are actively using this product. Most impacted customers are aware of Microsoft’s decision to sunset InfoPath and have already started seeking alternative options.
Timing and support
Integration for Microsoft InfoPath will be in the next OnBase release; however, the end-of-life date is Thursday, December 31, 2020. Existing customers that remain on supported versions will receive support based on their maintenance agreements and the OnBase Module Support Lifecycle.
Replacement options
Customers currently using Integration for Microsoft InfoPath have the option of recreating their InfoPath forms in OnBase by using eforms or Unity Forms. If a customer would like to leverage Unity Forms, they would be required to have an OnBase Workflow license.
Licensing changes and timing
The Integration for Microsoft InfoPath module has been removed from the fee schedule, and it is no longer available for future sales. Impacted license codes include MIIPI1 and MIMPI1.
